Abdul Razak Dawood Hassam Moosa

Abdul Razak Moosa is one South Africa’s leading and prominent business personalities and philanthropists. He was the Group Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Willowton Oils and Cake Mills in KwaZulu-Natal for over 40 years.

Under his leadership the Willowton Group today is recognised as South Africa's largest oilseeds crusher, cooking oil refiner, soap, candles, margarine, and industrial fats producer. The Group achieved major milestones despite aggressive competition from international competitors. Today the Group is established as a producer of  personalised brands for major supermarket chains and are suppliers to most of the fast-food fryers, chips manufacturers and other industrial users. Willowton expanded market share with presence in Gauteng, Cape Town,  Swaziland, Lesotho, Botswana, Namibia, Mozambique, Zambia, and Zimbabwe with exports to the DRC and Malawi.

Moosa is the Chairperson and Trustee of the Oil & Protein Seeds Development Trust and is the Chairperson of the South African Oil Processors. He is a Trustee of various Charitable & Religious Organisations  and also serves as Director for a number of  companies.
