Dr Lara

Lara Lewis is a Senior Statistician in the Statistics Department at the Center for the AIDS Programme of Research (CAPRISA). She holds a MSc in Applied Mathematics from University of Cape Town and a MSc in Applied Statistics from Birkbeck, University of London. She has over a decade of experience working with observational and clinical trial data in the areas of HIV/TB prevention and treatment. Her research interests include analysis of routinely collected health data and clinical trial data using causal inference methods, with the aim of guiding improvements in HIV/TB programme implementation & policy.
