Professors Quarraisha Abdool Karim and Rubeshan Perumal honoured with prestigious Scientific Merit Awards from the South African Medical Research Council (SAMRC)

CAPRISA Associate Scientific Director, Professor Quarraisha Abdool Karim, received the prestigious SAMRC Platinum Lifetime Scientific Achievement Award in recognition of her exceptional scientific contributions that have shaped health research and policies in South Africa and globally.
CAPRISA Senior Scientist and Head of Treatment, Professor Rubeshan Perumal, has been awarded the SAMRC Bronze Award, which recognizes emerging scientists with demonstrated potential to become established leaders in their field.
