H.E. Ambassador of Japan to South Africa presents fourth Noguchi Africa Prize to Salim and Quarraisha Abdool Karim

On 9th November His Excellency the Ambassador of Japan to South Africa, Mr Maruyama Norio hosted a special ceremony and lunch at his official residence to present the certificate and mementos of the 4th Hideyo Noguchi Africa Prize, in the category Medical Research to Professors Salim and Quarraisha Abdool Karim. The prize was officially announced at TICAD 8, held in Tunis on 28th August.
