    Celebrating Community Partnerships
    A mini imbizo was held on the 19th of March at the CAPRISA Vulindlela research facility. This meeting emanated from the visit of Ambassador Randal Tobias and other dignitaries to the CAPRISA site. The meeting provided and important opportunity for CAPRISA and Project Accept researchers to provide an overview of the research being done in Vulindlela and to share some of the results regarding STIs, HIV and AIDS.        Brad Pitt makes a star appearance at Vulindlela
    CAPRISA's rural Research Site in Vulindlela was visited by Hollywood celerity, Brad Pitt, last month during his week-long AIDS awareness mission. The purpose of his visit was to draw attention to the plight of people living in poverty and with HIV/AIDS. Read more - download PDF.

    The second ground-breaking South African AIDS Conference at Durban's ICC between June 7-10, 2005 aims to marchal the best of knowledge, practice and research on HIV and transform it into further united action and implementation and to spur a new spirit of unity and accountability for all.
